The Whole Truth About Bible
Water
Baptism

Mtt. 28:19-20; Acts 8:35-39;
Eph. 4:5

A. Bible Water Baptism In An Immersion Of The Body In Water:
It Demands...

1. A Going To Water --------------------Mark 1:5,9; Acts 8:36
2. A Usage Of Much Water---------------------------John 3:23
3. A Going Down Into Water---------------------------Acts 8:38
4. A Coming Up Out Of The Water------Acts 8:39; Mtt.3:16
5. A Burial In Water---------------------------Rom. 6:4;Col.2:12
6. A Planting In Water (KJB)----------------------------Rom.6:5
7. A Raising From The Water---------------------------Col. 2:12
8. A Birth Of The Water-----------------------------------John 3:5
9. A Body Washed In “Pure”(unmixed) Water----Heb. 10:22
10. A Dipping In Water--------------------------The Greek Word

The Only Conclusion Reached By Honest Hearts After A Careful Study Of The Bible Is That The Water Baptism Of The Great Commission Is A BURIAL Of The Whole Body In Water.

BUT...
None Of The Following Meets The Demands Of The Inspired Scriptures For Water Baptism: Not Sprinkling; Not Pouring; Not Splashing; Not Throwing; Not Squirting; Not Drooping; Not Scattering; Not Dabbing; Not Spilling; Not Ejecting; Not Swishing; Not Patting; Not Swirling; Not Moistening, etc., etc.,
* We Respectfully Affirm That There Is As Much Bible Authority To Baptize A Person’s Big Toe By The Above “Modes” As There Is To Baptize their Heads-----NONE!

FURTHER: Words Are Vehicles Of Thought; Words Convey Ideas. Compare Lev. 4:3-7 Where We See In These Verses Three Words. One Is “Dip.” Another is “Sprinkle.” The Other Is “Pour.” These Words Cannot Be Used Interchangeably...that makes no sense! Likewise NT Baptism Cannot Mean “to sprinkle, or to pour, or to immerse.”
ALSO: The Root Greek Word For Baptism Is “Bapto” (which means to dip, immerse). For Sprinkle it is “Raino.” For Pour it is “Cheo.”

B. The Proper Subjects For Bible Water Baptism....ARE:

1. Teachable People----------------------Mtt.28:19; Jn.6:44-45
2. Men And Women--------------------------------------Acts 8:12
3. Those Old Enough To Personally Respond--Acts 2:37,41
4. Sinners----------------------------------------------1 Cor. 6:9-11
5. The Unsaved---------------------------------------Mk. 16:15-16
6. Believers Confessing Christ--------Acts 8:36-37;Mk.16:16
7. Penitent Believers----------------------------Acts 2:38; 9:9,18
8. Honest Hearts--------------------------Lk.8:11,15; Acts 2:41
9. Morally Good-Living People-----------Acts 10:1-2,6;47-48
10. Those Baptized Wrongly--------------Acts 18:24-26;19:1-5

The Only Conclusion Reached By Honest Hearts After A Careful Study Of The Bible Is That Water Baptism Is Only For Persons Of An ACCOUNTABLE and MATURE Age.

The Right Subjects Are NOT...
Infants In Arms (Mtt. 18:3); Little Children (Mtt.19:14); The Sinless (1 Jn.3:4); All Safe (Mtt. 18:3; 19:14); Those With No Ability (Mtt.25:15); Unbelievers (Mk.16:16b; Jn.3:18); Non-penitents or Un-repentants (Acts 17:31; Rom.2:4-5); Dishonest Hearts (Mtt.3:7-10); Morally Bad-Living People...Active Sinners (Jn. 9:31; Acts 24:25).

* We Respectfully Affirm That There Is As Much Bible Authority To Baptize Grown-up Dishonest, Un-believing, Un-repentant People As There Is To Baptize Little Babies.... NONE!

NOTE: It Is To Error To Say That The “household (s)” who Were Baptized In Acts 16:15,33 Included Babies Or Little Children. Other Mature People Were Obviously In These “Household(s).” Any Who Were Baptized In These Homes Would Have To Be Those Meeting The Above Bible Requirements of age, etc. - 1 Cor. 14:33,37.

1. In Order To Be Saved...........................Mark 16:16; 1 Peter 3:20-21

20. To Have Washing/Regeneration by the Word......Eph.5:26;Titus 3:5
21. To Have Hearts Sprinkled By Blood & Bodies Washed.....Heb.10:22

The Only Conclusion Reached By Honest Hearts After A Careful Study Of All The Bible Has To Say About The Purpose Of Water Baptism Is That Water Baptism IS NECESSARY Unto Salvation.

The Purpose Of Water Baptism Is NOT:
An Mere Outward Sign; Because Already Saved; Since Sins Already Washed Away; Just To Get Into The Creek; Simply To Get Wet; For A Body Bath; To Obey A Church Dogma or Rite; To Obey Some Human Creed; Because We Can “See” Why; To Boast Of Water Salvation; Believing Power In The Water; etc., etc.

* We Respectfully Affirn There Is As Much Bible Authority To Be Baptized merely To Get Wet All Over As There Is For An Outward Sign.....NONE!
