"THE REMISSION
OF SINS"

The "Remission (or forgiveness) of Sins" in the Last Will and Testament of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (Heb. 9:16-17) is attributed to different Persons and Actions: Such do not contradict one another. No, just like it is only when you add up the different numbers in a column that you then have the Total, so it is with the “remission of sins.” ALL the following, in one way of another, contribute to “the remission (or forgiveness) of our sins:
The BLOOD of Christ - Mt. 26:28
The APOSTLES - Jn. 20:23; Acts 2:37-38
CHRIST - Acts 13:38
MERCY of God - Lk. 1:77-78
OBEDIENCE of Man - Acts 2:40
PERSONAL FAITH in Jesus Christ - Acts 10:43
REPENTANCE - Lk. 24:47
RIGHTEOUSNESS of God - Rom. 3:15
WATER BAPTISM BY IMMERSION- Acts 2:38; 22:16; 8:38-39
Why do so many folks fail to add up the list, draw a line, and then make the Total? It is mainly because of false and/or misguided teachers and their one-sided presentations and emphasis (Mt. 15:14). Dear friend - you be like those of whom it is stated in Acts 17:11 that they personally "searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so."
What a wonderful thing to realize - The "Remission of Sin." Be sure you have get it right. You eternal destiny depends on it.
