Since God has done His part in the plan of salvation for humankind we must accept His plan. Putting aside the many cheap theories (touch the TV, etc.. etc.) and the modern short- cut views (faith only, etc.) , let us see what God Himself has said about HOW to accept this important plan and the ORDER of that plan as revealed in the Bible.

The Bible says we must all first: (1) BELIEVE unreservedly in Jesus as the very unique Son of God - Mtt.16:16; Jn. 8:24.

Next the Bible says we must all (2) REPENT of our sins that we have committed - Lk.24:46-47; Acts 17:30-31.

The Bible then says we must all (3) CONFESS that Jesus Christ is the Son of God before men -Mt.10:32-33; Rom.10:9-10.

The Bible says we must now all (4) BE BAPTIZED in water (immersed as a believing-penitent adult) by the authority of Jesus Christ "for (in order to) the remission of sins" - Acts 2:38; 8:36.

Following this initial salvation the Bible says we must all (5) BE FAITHFUL until death - Rev. 2:10; 1 Cor.15:58; 1 Jn.1:7-9.

We must take ALL that God has to say today through Christ - Mtt.18:18; Jn. 12:48; Rom.2:16. People, don’t short-change yourself. Don't leave off any act of obedience. Don't re-arrange God's plan to suit your prejudices. Don't play God and say what does it matter? But rather fully obey God's Plan of Salvation - Heb. 5:8-9.
